Technical Workshop Education Details

  • Magura will focus its session on their ever-evolving line of brake product as well as their seatpost technology. As always the emphasis of this session will be product serviceability.
  • FSA has introduced a new drivetrain system.: WE. FSA will focus its session on educating mechanics on the ins and outs of the new WE system from the top to bottom.
  • SRAM will be focused on service and overhaul of Guide and Level brake systems, RockShox Reverb Stealth and air can service on the new Metric Shocks.
  • DT Swiss will take participants through their hubs inside and out including axle conversion and bearing replacement. They will also walk participants through their wheel, rim and spoke products including helpful insights for all mechanics wheel-builder or not.
  • SR Suntour is offering insightful tips on increasing service dollars with easy and meaningful suspension maintenance. Mechanics will receive an Official Retailer Partner Certification as a result of the SR Suntour session.
  • Campagnolo will be discussing all technologies including the new H11 system, MyCampy App diagnostic system and their core componentry for set-up, installation and tuning.
  • STAN’s Established in 2001, Stan’s NoTubes is the first name in tubeless. You’ll get the inside scoop on all things tubeless including best tubeless practices, set-up tips, and service instruction for Stan’s rims and wheel products.
  • PBMA eTech provides a basic technical overview of drive-system, battery and diagnostics any shop should be able to do.
  • Park Tool will have Calvin Jones on hand leading a panel discussion about the latest trends in service and profitability.
  • Winged Wheel Development founder Mike Reisenleiter will be on hand talking about service forward thinking and the future potential profits it can bring.

Participants in the workshop will receive a PBMA Certificate outlining 20-hours of continuing education along with select providers providing direct manufacturer certification on their latest products.

Workshops are $375 for non-members, $275 for members and $250 for a member-shop registering two or more participants. Workshop costs include a snack on Tuesday, Lunch and Dinner on Wednesday, Lunch on Thursday. The PBMA has negotiated lodging at each host hotel with also includes daily breakfast.
