Hazard: The bike’s frame can crack at the hinge on the top tube, posing a fall hazard.
Remedy: Repair
Consumers should immediately stop riding the bicycle and contact Stile Products or take the bike to an authorized dealer. Consumers will receive a free frame and have it installed at no cost.

Units: About 220 (in addition, about 175 were recalled in June 2013)
Description: This recall involves Eclipse S11i and Verge S11i, X10, X20 and X30h models of Tern brand folding bikes. The 24-inch wheel Eclipse model was sold in a silver/black color combination. The 20-inch wheel Verge models were sold in silver/black, orange/white, red/black and yellow/grey color combinations. “Tern” is printed on the front end of the top tube and on portion of the frame. The model name is printed on the middle of the top tube. The frame has a 10-character alphanumeric serial number that begins with AM1A or from AM1102 through AM1208. The serial number is stamped on the bottom bracket shell of the bike.
Incidents/Injuries: Stile Products has received four reports of incidents of the frame hinge cracking, resulting in minor scrapes, bruises and one sprained shoulder.
Sold at: Authorized Stile/Tern dealers nationwide from January 2012 to April 2016 for between $1,800 and $3,000.

Units: About 1,050 in the U.S. (in addition, about 40 were sold in Canada)
Description: This recall involves Brunton’s Impel and Impel 2 rechargeable, portable battery packs that are used to charge cell phones, tablets, laptops and other devices. The Impel battery came in a rubberized shell in dark gray with orange or blue and the Impel 2 in light gray with black trim. The battery packs can be plugged into an A/C wall outlet, a 12 volt car charger or an attachable solar panel for recharging. They measure about 7.5 inches long by 7 inches wide by 1 inch thick. The lithium ion polymer battery packs have 16, and 19 volt outputs and a USB port. The Impel model also has a 12 volt output. Brunton is embossed on the top of the battery pack, along with the power button and five LED lights.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received two reports of battery packs overheating and catching on fire; with one incident resulting in about $25,000 of property damage and another one in a garage burning down with property and smoke damage to the adjacent residence. No injuries have been reported.

Description: This recall involves three models of Coleman® CTAC Lithium-Ion Flashlights. Models include CTAC20 (model 2000013874), CTAC40 (model 2000013873) and CTAC60 (model 2000013872). The flashlights are black, with “Coleman” printed in white along the handle and have the model number in white print on the upper portion of the handle next to the light. The flashlights are 6.5 inches long. The lithium-ion batteries inside the flashlights are red with the Coleman logo printed in white on the battery.
Incidents/Injuries: Coleman has received two reports of the flashlight batteries overheating, catching fire and causing minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.

Description: This recalls involves SRAM’s Zipp stainless steel or titanium quick releases. They were sold as aftermarket components or as part of the 202 DB V2, 303 DB V2, 404 Firestrike V2, 202 Firecrest V3, 303 Firecrest V3, 404 Firecrest V3, 808 Firecrest V3 or 808 NSW wheels. The quick release has a curved, black lever. Zipp appears on the lever. Only quick releases without a marking at the center of the underside of the lever, below the Zipp logo are included on this recall.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received three incident reports of the quick release failing. No injuries have been reported.
Sold at: Specialty bicycle stores nationwide from March 2015 through December 2015 for about $47 for the stainless steel quick release and about $84 for the titanium quick release. Wheel sets equipped with the quick releases were sold for between $1,000 and $3,600.

Description: This recall involves Pelican 9410L flashlights equipped with lithium ion battery packs and replacement battery packs. The flashlights are yellow and black. “Pelican 9410L” is printed on the front of the flashlights and on the top of the handle. The recalled flashlights have manufacturer part number 9410-021-245 or 9410-021-110 printed on the packaging. The manufacturer part number for the recalled battery pack is 9413-301-001 and is printed on a label on the battery’s shrink wrap. Only battery packs that contain green shrink wrapped cells are included in the recall.
Incidents/Injuries: Pelican has received two reports of overheating battery packs. No injuries have been reported.
Sold at: Sports and specialty stores nationwide, online at Amazon.com and other industrial supply dealers or distributors from May 2014 through January 2016 for between $240 to $280 for the flashlights and between $50 and $70 for the replacement battery packs.

Description: This recall includes SRAM’s Zipp bicycle wheel hubs. The model names of the affected hubs are ZIPP 88v6, 88v7 and 88v8. The Z logo is printed on the hub. The wheel hubs come in black, silver and falcon grey. The diameter of the clinch nut is approximately 1.46 inches. Some of the hubs were sold as part of wheel sets installed on new bicycles. SRAM will post a list of affected bicycle brands and models on its website at http://www.sram.com.
Incidents/Injuries: SRAM has received one report in the U.S. of hub flange failure that could have led to wheel collapse. No injuries have been reported in the U.S.
Sold at: Specialty bicycle stores nationwide from May 2010 through January 2015. The front hubs sold for about $215. Complete front wheels with the hubs sold for between $1,035 and $1,325. The front wheel was also sold as a wheel set with a rear wheel for between $2,300 and $2,950.

Description: This recall involves BYA Sports Skyline backyard zipline kits sold in 60-, 75- and 90-foot cable lengths. The kits were sold in camouflage packaging containing a main cable, trolley, short cable, turnbuckle and u-clamps. Recall Summary
Hazard: The helmets do not comply with the impact requirements of safety standards for helmets, posing a risk of head injury.
Remedy: Replacement – Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled helmets and contact Head USA to receive a free replacement helmet.

Units: About 260 in the United States (in addition, 180 were sold in Canada).
Description: This recall involves six models of HEAD ski and snowboard helmets: Agent, Alia, Andor, Arise, Arosa and Avril. They were sold in sizes M/L and XL/XXL in black, blue, green white and yellow, with straps in a variety of colors. HEAD, the model name, size and “Production Code: Dec. 2014” are printed on stickers that can be found by lifting the lining above the right earpiece.

Sold at: Specialty ski and snowboard shops and online from January 2015 through December 2015 for between $80 and $120.

Description: The recall includes the 2015 models of UWATEC Galileo Luna and Sol dive computers. Only dive computers with the following serial numbers are included in the recall.
Galileo LUNA dive computers have serial numbers 150422 0058 001 to 150903 0338 005 and Galileo SOL dive computers have serial numbers 150423 0202 001 to 150921 0001 005. The serial number is stamped on the back of the computer and printed on a label on the product packaging.
Incidents/Injuries: Scubapro has received three reports of the dive computer screens freezing. No injuries have been reported.
Sold at: Authorized Scubapro dealers nationwide from May 2015 through January 2016 for between $700 and $1,200.

Description: This recall involves all model year 2015 Felt Double Double 30, NINEe 20 and Edict 1 mountain bicycles. The bicycles were sold with carbon fiber seat posts. The model name is printed on the top tube of the bicycles. The Felt logo is on the down tube of the Double Double 30 and the NINEe20, and on the top tube of the Edict 1. The Double Double 30 was sold in the color blue. The NINEe 20 was sold in a gray and orange color scheme. The Edict 1 was sold in a black and blue color scheme.
Incidents/Injuries: Felt has received 10 reports of the seat post cracking. No injuries have been reported.
Sold by: Bicycle specialty stores nationwide from August 2014 through September 2015 for between $2,000 and $5,500.

Description: This recall involves REI evrgrn Campfire Rocker chairs. The collapsible rocking chairs were sold in blue, gray, green, and orange fabric supported by four metal tubes and wooden rockers at the base and are intended for outdoor use. A small black tab is attached to the edge of the fabric seat containing the word “evrgrn”. The chair comes in a portable bag whose color matches that of the fabric seat.
Incidents/Injuries: REI has received four reports of children who have tipped over in the rocker chairs while in the store. No injuries have been reported.
Sold exclusively at: REI stores nationwide and online at http://www.REI.com from April 2015 through August 2015 for about $100.

Recalled bicycles have a serial number ending in J or K. The serial number is located on the bottom of the bicycle frame. Superfly FS, X1 or XT is printed on the bicycle’s top tube. Trek is printed on the frame downtube. “Bontrager Carbon” is printed on the seatpost.
Incidents/Injuries: Trek has received two incidents report involving the recalled bicycles. No injuries have been reported.

Name of Product: Huffy bicycles equipped with front disc brakes
Hazard: An open quick release lever on the bicycle’s front wheel hub can come into contact with the front disc brake assembly, causing the front wheel to come to a sudden stop or separate from the bicycle, posing a risk of injury to the rider.

Description: The recalled products are all model year 2014 Huffy TR 745 and TR-S 740 bicycles with 27.5-inch wheels. “Huffy” is on the downtube of the frame of both bicycles and model name TR 745 or TR-S 740 is on the rear portion of the frame. The TR 745 has a green frame with model number 26504M on the bottom of the frame near the pedals. The TR-S 740 has a white frame and model number 26604M on the bottom of the frame near the pedals. Bicycles that have a green dot on the inside of the quick release lever are not included in this recall.

Hazard: The front part, where the points connect to the crampons, can break, posing a fall hazard.
Remedy: Repair
Consumers should immediately stop using these recalled crampons and contact the firm for instructions on receiving free replacement parts.

Recall Details
Units: About 900 (in addition, 20 were sold in Canada)
Description: This recall involves all Cassin Blade Runner and Blade Runner Alpine crampons. Crampons are used for ice climbing and attach to footwear allowing the front points of the crampon to cut into the snow or ice. The Blade Runner crampons have two ice front points and the Blade Runner Alpine crampons have two snow front points. “Sandvik Nanoflex” is printed on a rubber label attached to the gray nylon ankle strap. “Cassin” and “Blade Runner” are stamped on the orange traction plate on the foot of the crampon. The crampon frames are made of Chromoly and Nanoflex® steel.
Incidents/Injuries: CAMP USA has received three reports of these crampons breaking during use. No injuries have been reported.
Sold at: Specialty outdoor retailers nationwide and online at backcountry.com, camp-usa.com and mountaingear.com from June 2013 to June 2015 for about $350.

Remedy: Replace

Description: This recall affects all Tour Nanotech Automatic and Semi-Automatic crampons. Both crampons are made of steel plates that attach to boots for ice climbing. The Tour Nanotech Automatic has a red heel bail with a gray strap that fastens around the ankle. The Tour Nanotech Semi-Automatic has a red toe strap at the front of the crampon and a red heel bail at the back. A gray strap is connected to both heel bails and fastens around the boot.
Incidents/Injuries: CAMP USA has received one report of the heel bail detaching during use. No injuries have been reported.

Breezer Recalls Downtown Bicycles Due to Crash Hazard; Pedals Can Come Off

Hazard: The bicycle pedal can separate from the spindle (axle) during use and cause the rider to lose control, posing a crash hazard.
Remedy: Repair

Description: This recall involves Breezer Bicycles models Downtown 3, Downtown 3-ST, Downtown 8, Downtown 8-ST, Downtown EX and Downtown EX-ST. The main frame is made of steel and has either a single or dual water bottle mount, and the wheel sets are aluminum. The bicycles come in eight different sizes and a variety of gloss colors, including candy apple, chartreuse, chocolate, dark blue, dark green, shale and slate. The model is printed on the top tube of the bicycle.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received 12 reports of pedals separating from the spindle. No injuries have been reported.
Sold at: Authorized Breezer Bicycles dealers nationwide from July 2014 through May 2015 for about $450 to $650.
